Medication is not always fully covered; this often creates a sizeable financial burden on families. To ensure children receive needed care, the Foundation provides relief to qualifying families.
This service can be very broad as there are a lot of different types of adaptive equipment out there. Such items are not always covered by private insurance companies, and even if they are covered, it can take months to get the appropriate authorizations needed for approval. The Levi Miles Foundation works with medical equipment suppliers and families to provide adaptive equipment to promote a better quality of life.
Level Three Services require special funding. Applications can be completed by either families or referring physicians or social workers. Please click on the “Apply Now” button below and complete the application(s) for funding.
